Jeff William Acosta is a Filipino poet from Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He currently resides beside the sands and waves of La Union. His work has been published or is forthcoming in 聲韻詩刊 Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine,The Dark Horse, Matter Press, Prairie Fire, CAROUSEL and elsewhere. Co-winner of the Sahaya: Timpalak Pampanitikan (STP) 2021 ng UP Sentro ng Wikang Filipino-Diliman and 2021 Jack Grapes Poetry semifinalist.
He loves exploring different themes but somehow death, and all the things that comes after the sun and the moon, perhaps ghosts, perhaps his own tongue holds him hostage.
He occasionally plays the ukulele and guitar. He also tried the drums, just because. Part-time painter and bibliophile-in-training. When Jep isn't writing, he is lurking in his room watching Korean dramas and anime.
